Ok, well it’s been only four hours since we’ve arrived in LA. Already, we’ve had some arguments, some prayer sessions, a basketball game, etc. Nothing too cool to mention. Basically, everyone has a different idea of what they want to do, or why we shouldn’t do what we’re doing. We were picked up by the guys at Calvary Chapel East LA, and we attended their Good Friday service. The pastor was once in the gang banger lifestyle, and now he’s running a church. It was a pretty small room where they meet, and mostly hispanic. But the intamacy of the setting and the “after church churros” made our Good Friday special. This is us at Roscos Chicken and Waffels on Gower. For some eason, the guys wanted to go to Hollywood. So we’re way up past out east coast traveler’s bed time and it’s starting to get weird.
