As I look at the holes in my shorts and T-shirts, I know its ok. I have a closet full of them upstairs. In fact my closet has enough clothes that some may never see the light of day. We all have these clothes that we hold on to or cant let go because, "what if we need them one day or what if…" Well guess what: you don’t need them- and I don’t either.

                  As I contemplated the simple thought of clothes, I remembered the "Set Free Church" right on Skid Row. In March when Enoch Magazine was making  our Skid Row Documentary in Los Angeles, we interviewed Pastor Ron, of Set Free Church. Set Free Church has certain times every day where the homeless who live on Skid Row can come and get a fresh change of clothes. But here’s the problem: they don’t have enough clothes. Could you imagine being told “I’m sorry your clothes smell like urine and vomit but we have no clothes to give you and I am not sure if we are getting more.” Heartbreaking. I’m not saying they would tell them that but you get the idea.

Below is the letter I sent out to a few churches in Orange County, CA who I want to have clothing drives to help Set Free Church.

 As your church may know Enoch Magazine went to Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles to film a documentary and work with the Homeless this past spring.
While we were there we had to chance to interview Pastor Ron Thomas of Set Free Church. Pastor Ron expressed that their church was in need of clothing.
Every Day Set Free is open for the homeless to come in, hang out, and get a fresh change of clothes. He expressed to us that they can not meet the need of clothes every day.  Pastor Ron told us that they have a really hard time getting Men clothes especially pants. I am asking that your Church team up with Pastor Ron, and Enoch Magazine and do a clothing drive for this church. I have included his contact info below.
